Born in Athens, Greece, Dimitris started playing the guitar at the age of 15. Influenced and inspired by rock and pop music, in 2001 he becomes the frontman of Modrec – an Athenian post-punk band that released 2 well-acclaimed albums and toured Greece for 3 years giving explosive performances (Synch Festival, AN club, Gagarin205).
In 2006 Dimitris formed Palindrom (later on renamed to Moa Bones) – a new band of American folk style from the 60’s and 70’s where Dimitris is a singer and guitarist. In 2011 Moa Bones released their first album “Aquarelles” with Restless Wind record label. The album was well received by the critics and Moa Bones have had some great gigs throughout Greece
Since 2007, Dimitris has produced and co-produced music for numerous TV commercial spots as a member of the Inhousemusic team, while he has also composed music for short films and documentaries.
Today, he is a member of the ambient duet Yellow Slots and is also putting time on Moa Bones’ new album release and their 2015 Greek & European tour.
